Privacy summary
Hidden Word Scanner is operated independently by Bradley Shoemaker. The site is designed to avoid collecting document contents as a persistent service record. No account is required to use the public tools.
Documents and tool inputs
Files submitted to the document scanner are processed to provide the requested inspection. Uploads are deleted immediately after scanning, and temporary reports expire automatically. Do not upload confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive material.
Where a tool says that values, expressions, source code, search terms, or results stay in the browser, those values are not sent to the server as part of that tool’s normal operation. A tool may send a limited, content-free completion category for aggregate reliability measurement as described on the relevant page.
Analytics and advertising
Public pages may use Google Analytics when configured to understand aggregate site use. The project does not intentionally send document uploads, scan IDs, filenames, findings, calculator inputs, or tool results to Google Analytics.
Advertising is not currently displayed through this website. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated before or when it is activated. Such services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure advertising, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize ads. Visitors will be given the notices and choices required for the applicable service and region.
Contact and suggestions
If you email the project or submit a suggestion, the information you choose to provide may be used to respond and improve the site. Suggestions may be retained for up to 180 days as stated on the form. Please do not send passwords, private documents, or sensitive personal information.
