Scan a PDF, DOCX, or XLSX file
What this tool checks
Review content beyond the normal document view
- Author, creator, producer, and last-modified-by properties
- Titles, subjects, keywords, dates, and custom properties
- Comments, revisions, annotations, links, and attachments
- Format-specific hidden text and concealed document structures
What the results mean
The scanner is read-only and does not remove metadata. Preserve the original, review the findings, and clean a separate copy with the application that created the file.
Hidden Word Scanner leaves the uploaded file unchanged and presents findings for human review. A clean scan is not a guarantee that a document is safe or complete.
Read the document metadata and sharing guide or review the scanner methodology and limitations.
