Scan a PDF file
What this tool checks
Review content beyond the normal document view
- Invisible, tiny, transparent, overlapping, or off-page text
- OCR text that disagrees with the visible page
- Annotations, links, attachments, forms, and document metadata
- Text that may remain selectable beneath a visual redaction
What the results mean
A finding is a reason to inspect the unchanged original. It does not prove that content was intentionally concealed or that a redaction failed.
Hidden Word Scanner leaves the uploaded file unchanged and presents findings for human review. A clean scan is not a guarantee that a document is safe or complete.
Read the complete PDF hidden-text inspection guide or review the scanner methodology and limitations.
